Rosenheim and neighborhoods

The first mention in documents about Rosenheim,  Landkreis (administrative district ), dates from  1234. The central area Max-Josefs-Platz is a pedestrian zone surrounded by bourgeois houses in typical Inn-Salzach stile, what characterize the regions from those two rivers. Typical to this style are the arches and the bay windows of the houses what today represent the perfect frame for shopping tours, restaurants or pauses in pleasant cafe.

You should make a guided tour of the town, in what you should include a visit  at City Museum ,The Wood processing Museum ,The Inn Museum,  the Town Gallery, what host year by year numerous” works of arts” or the  exhibition center  Lokschuppen with its   special works. At reception we  kindly  furnish you  other information over the attractions of the historical centre of Rosenheim.

You must not forget about  annual „Rosenheimer Herbstfest“, the fest of autumn what  takes place between end of august  and beginning of September, a  smaller autumn fest before the wellknown Oktoberfest” from Munchen

Approx.2000 km of ciclistic itinerars among the rivers Inn and Mangfall and arround Chiemsee Lake , the biggest bavarian lake, are  ideal for trips and longs or short tours. Obviously there are diverse possibilities of riding a bike or participating to a guided excursion. And if you are searching a balneal lake for a short refreshment in only 5-10 minutes on your bicycle you arrive at Happing Lake, a well upkept  lake, with beautiful  shadowy   threes and a small typical restaurant.
